This was an excellent read. It tied in well with the rest of the series. My only problem is that this book, like the rest, pulls me in and then I'm at the end. It feels like they are never longer enough and I always want more. Great book in a great series.
So far Sunset at Sunrise is the most exciting of the Sunset Vampire series. Action packed and even more romantic. I really had a hard time setting it aside and spent two all nighters reading.
I have read the first 3 books in this series and just bought the fourth. Can't wait to read it. Jaz Primo weaves a good storyline with strong characters. You may become uncomfortable at the relationships between the main characters but this provides an opportunity to step outside of the typical cliched boy-girl romance.
Oh my, this series is keeping me on the edge of my seat more and more. It's literally hard for me to put my down because I absolutely need to know what is going to happen next. This is a must read series. Jaz Primo you are amazing.

Watching the depth of this series grow is tantalizing. Enjoying the growth of familiar characters. Wonderful new additions to the "family" also. Excited to start the next book.
I wish the character of Caleb had been manlier and stronger. He seems so whipped. Paige is his " babysitter" and Katrina makes all the decisions. She must approve of Caleb's every move before he's allowed to travel or even pee on his own.
Because of this, I really started disliking Katrina early on. Because of that, I was hoping Caleb and Paige would end up together. While most women don't want men controlling them, I thought this was the opposite. The woman wore the pants so to speak, but in this case it was out of bounds.
Why should Katrina run Caleb's entire life just because she's a vampire?
The other thing that bugged me was Caleb accepted this behavior. Uh!
With that being said, the author is a great writer with excellent storytelling capabilities. Well done.
Over the last week, I read the Sunset Vampire Series off and on, though I did not review either of the first two books.

The series surprised me at first. Normally, urban fantasy is written in First Person Point-of-View and does not feature a normal-ish human male. But neither detracted from the story in the least.

I enjoyed the story between the normal Caleb and the vampire Kat. It's an unusual pairing, but it works.

My only complaint on the series at all, though this goes for the first two books more than the last, is that Caleb feels too inferior when compared to the girls of the series. I like tough chicks in urban fantasy just as much as the next guy, but I've always been a fan of pairs that are more equal.

Apart from that, the series has a good flow and the author is progressively getting better at writing each book.

I eagerly await the next installment in this series.
